Delivery


We use crane-mounted trucks to deliver our products. This ensures that the products are free from breakage while loading and unloading. It also saves valuable time while unloading, hence benefiting the customer. We use hydraulic forklifts to load our products,which minimizes the possibility of damage to the products. The cranes are mounted on all our trucks.

• The Oil & dense stain can be easily removed if it cleaned immediately. If the Stain become dry than simply remove that paver & replace with a new piece of paver.


23) What is Efflorescence?

• Efflorescence is a whitish powder –like deposit that sometimes appears on Concrete. Efflorescence will usually wash and wear off over time.


24) What if I don’t want to wait. Is there another option?

• Yes, could speed up the process by using a mild solution of muriatic Acid and water 10-20 parts water to 1 part Acid is a good starting point. Be sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions because acid be harmful.


25) Where do I start the treatment?

• Try it out on a small unnoticeable area first to ensure the results are acceptable. Be sure to keep track of how long the acid is on the Fly Ash! The length of time the acid is in contact with the Fly Ash can affect the result. Also be sure to have a rinse hose at the ready.


26) How often does this need to be done?

• Most cases of efflorescence occur while the product is packaged and won’t occur again once the product has been installed.

Paving of Fly Ash Blocks


Experience and expertise are what you need most to pave Fly Ash blocks, and every bit of constructional brilliance is required to achieve the high-performance level. Furthermore, every inch of work should be measured by acute observation and cautious movements to integrate the quality you need. So, it’s anything but a child’s play, right!

Here, before executing the recipe, a brief recognition of the initial parameters is necessary.

The base, Sub-base & Compaction:


We are talking about the underlying structural layers of a block pavement. The first step is ingredients. The materials work for the base construction consist of graded granular substance or lean mixed Fly Ash, fabricated and compacted in layers with an utmost width of 225 mm and proper erection will assure a very long lasting lifespan.

An experienced laying contractor can manage to arbitrate the required sub-base for simple domestic purposes. But for medium & heavy traffic the particular framing should follow the standards specified by The Indian Roads Congress or institutions with the similar reputation.

The sub-base level must maintain a feasible slope and falls. Mechanical vibrating compactors are needed to carry the concretion to the specified CBR. Proper kerbing is important to start paving segment layers. 2 cm tolerance has found to be maximum for the sub-base from the required levels.

Laying Course (Sand Bedding):


It’s a material layer upon which paving segments are arranged.A width of 1 to 5mm natural sand has embedded within this layer.The height of the course layer must fall between 25 to 50mm.; Areas like surrounding the Manholes, a lean cement mortar (one part of cement with ten parts of sand) works better instead of plain sand..

Here, the pivotal issue is to screed the laying surface smoothly since an uneven course can result in rutting, channelizing and even cause deformation of the surface layer.

When sand procurement is not possible, you don’t have a choice but to use stone gravels, use it with complete precaution as follows:

1. Fine particles of the stone dust must be removed before any further use. Otherwise, the stone gravel with fine elements creates a stone-hard layer as time passes and spoils the shielding quality as with sand.

2. Where stone shingle is the bedding material, fine sand is not the right choice for the junctions of paving blocks. Because this may settle into the bedding layer, results in a failure and disintegration of pavement. Coarse sand suits well for these types of junctions. An intense observation is needed to make sure that this coarse sand stays in the joints. And refilling may require for sometimes. The sand in the junctions is what holds the blocks together allowing vehicular loads and forces to spread in a huge portion of chunks. That is why the lifespan of the pavement depends upon it.

Consult standard codes and qualities to have a proper guidance of the appropriate course material.

Arranging of Blocks:


Block patterns must maintain an approximate joint width of 2-5 mm with the help of a tied string to manage line and levels. Cut pieces not smaller than 1/3 rd size must be used in the hand-tightened blocks. Regular checking is necessary for string alignment. However, an absolutely straight line is hardly possible due to tolerances in product measurements.

Since color variations cannot be circumvented in the manufacturing process, the natural appearance can come out only by mingling different bundles of the pavers. Besides, pavers with different shades used in distinct areas as in color variation do not contend.

Filling of joints:


After arranging the pavers correctly, the next step is to load the paver joints using clean and dried coarse sand. The joints should be brushed to clear excess sand. A vibrating compactor is a perfect device for these works. Repeated operation of the vibrator enhances the performance level of the work. The notable fact is that the jointing sand creates the stubborn lock to hold a large area of pavers as one unit. Undeniably, the jointing sand is the centre of attention here.

To maintain the efficiency of the whole operation, sand refilling is significant after several months’ passes after complete pavement.

A Block arrangement can manage massive loads due to the abrasion produced by the junction sand, and it is the abrasion which spreads vehicular loads horizontally through the surface.

Cleaning & Maintenance:


1. The sufficient routine maintenance can be managed by day to day washing at least with water while ordinary soaps should be included after a regular time span. However, a filthy pavement can be easily cleaned up by washing away the dirt with the power hose pipe. Water jets are accessible in the market (Bosch, Black & Decker) for a little price and can be kept permanently for use when required. A proper understanding of the pressure is necessary while functioning the hose to avoid erosion and damage to the surface layer of the pavers. .

While operating this process,if sand is cleared from the joints, alteration and reloading of the sand in the junction is essential for the pavement to be adequate to sustain vehicular burdens. The pale surface color shines again after a complete cleaning.

2. Tyre Marks can also be washed by cleaning with a soap solution and water in a similar way. In this case, a strong detergent soap will be useful.

3. A white chalky substance named Efflorescence can reveal sometimes depending on some climate conditions. Also, it disappears in due course. This is inevitable. EEfflorescence can also be wrapped by using specific harmless substances like Touch Wood, by Asian Paints or similar chemical which is an acrylic polymer. A coating of this polymer can substantially mask the efflorescence and delivers sheen while intensifying the color of the paver surface. The coating is expensive, so should not be wasted before completion of paving and before clearing the site from all the debris and dust due to construction. Hence, thorough washing of the surface is also needed before operating this coat because of the same reason. Otherwise,the dust will permanently appear beneath the painted surface.

Before coating completes, it is crucial to make sure that there is sufficient sand remains in the junctions. If sand is washed due to rain, traffic, or any other reason, re-filling it is a must for the joints to prevent slanting of pavers below traffic which cause spalling.
